Whether you are a thick hide tanker or a fire spitting dps, gems are a crucial part of everyone's equipment. The sole purpose of gems is to compliment your equipment to give you additional stats on top of your equipment. So how many gems can our weapon wear?

As you can see from the above image, some weapons come ready with slots for you to embed those gems. However in most cases, more gems can be added by using an item known as :

(Depending on the hole you wish to make, the shape might be different. Picture for reference purposes)


In order to obtained the 六角凹糟 you need to gather its fragments first. You can receive these items from some of the higher level daily quests as per below image.


Lastly exchanged the item from a town's NPC with the required resource. There is a green one and a blue one.
I have not done any of this but the green one after translation means Non-stable Hexagon Embedding tool, while the blue one that cost 150 fragments translates as Hexagon Embedding Tool. The green one seems a little dodgy... ==

Anyway once you get the right holes into your weapon, now its time to suit up!

Currently the most expensive gem is the Diamond series. With all the stats immediately added with no prior condition required, this puts the Diamond series on the top of the price chart. Gems once worn cannot be sold, so always be mindful of whether you wanna sell the gem or use it. As the saying goes, you can't have the cake and eat it. =(


I see most players going for 2 must-have-gems, Amethyst for absorbing HP and Ruby (1) for added attack. As for the remaining two gem slots I would recommend players going for gems that benefit their classes instead of going for the Diamond series (unless you can well afford it XD) For instance,Topaz (2) can benefit Blade Masters who has plenty of knock down skills.
